Transit Strike Ending?

Story here, from ny1.com. It's also mentioned in the "Breaking News" ticker on cnn.com. Apparently it might take 12-24 hours to get service going, if the union votes to end the strike. Here's hoping, I guess. Wouldn't it suck if they ended the strike and then went back on strike a few days later because no headway was being made in the negotiations?
